On July 30th I went to Rescue for an Rc Pro race. The track was really fun, it had a big step up and lots of jumps. I got to the track on Friday for practice. Practice went great I had no issues.
Saturday Qualifying- The first qualifier was going well, I was in first until my clutch barring went out. In the second round I got the TQ and I had the fastest lap. In the third round I flamed out. In the fourth round I crashed going off the step up and there were no marshals around and I flamed out again. I qualified third overall.
The A Main- The start did not go well, halfway through the first lap my servo saver arm broke! Ryan and Carlos got my buggy fixed and I was back on the track. I was out for a while with many laps down to catch up. I raced the twenty minutes that were left and had fun on the track. I finished in 5th place.

I went to River Front for the MX Challenge last week. This race was going to be my first race with a truggy and my first time racing expert.
Truggy Qualifying- My first qualifier went well I got third in my heat. In the second round I broke a front hub carrier in the warm up. In the third round the screws backed out of the front hub with only a minuet left!
Buggy Qualifying- The first round went great I qualified fourth overall. In the second round I broke a front upper arm.
Truggy B Main- I had a good start but flamed out after my pit stop and that put me a few laps down. I did a few 33 sec lap times which was my goal because at the previous races I was stuck in the 35 and could not break that time. The Truggy race was a lot of fun.
Buggy A Main- I qualified seventh for the main. The start was great I got into third and was there for a while but fell down to fourth. I ran out of gas and that put me a lap down. I got back up to fourth and finished there. I had a lot of fun at this race the track was great and so was the racing.

On Friday May 21st I arrived to River Front RC track to practice. I ran five tanks in practice and made little set up changes all day until my buggy was dialed. The track lay out was a lot of fun. It had some challenging sections like "The Log Jam" and "The Windy Double."
Qualifying- In the first qualifier I was in the pits twice getting my motor tuned. But I still managed to put in a eight lap run! Going into the second round of qualifying I was confident that I was going to put in a nine lap run and I did which qualified me second overall. In third qualifier I was in the pits for the first minute getting my motor tuned. Once I had crossed the line the rest of the pack was coming around for their second lap so I lost a lap,but my lap time was consistent and I only made one mistake. After three rounds of qualifying I was second overall, so I was going to be in the dash for cash.
The Dash for Cash- I was starting second for the Dash for Cash. This gave me a huge lead over the fast guys. The race was going great for the first two minutes. I had a half a lap lead. Then I crashed and by the time I got marshalled the pack had caught up.
The A Main- For the Main I started second. The start did not go well, my buggy was getting hit all over the place by ten other buggies. After the mess got sorted out I was just trying to catch up to the pack. As I was going into the pit lane I ran out of gas. Which was odd because I get 9 minutes on a tank and I pitted at seven just to be safe. I then flamed out just after leaving the pits, after all this I was a lap down. I worked my way up to 5th. I had a great time racing all weekend even though the Main did not go well. Next race is Nor-Cal Round 3 at Delta. I would like to thank the GFD team for helping me all weekend.

On May 1st I went to River Front for Round 2 of the NorCal Championship Series.
Practice- In practice I ran about 4 tanks of fuel. The drivers stand was so packed that I and many other people stood on the side of the track.
Qualifying- My first qualifier was going great until the last lap. I went off a big jump sideways and went into a fence. The second Qualifier did not go well either because I crashed too many times. I qualified 5th in the C Main.
C main- I got a good start and was battling for first. The top three guys and I kept switching spots for the first 10 minutes. I eventually pulled away. Then I lost a steering servo at 13 minutes.

On April 25 th I went to Rescue for a club race. I had been at the track practicing a few days before and working on set up. My goal for the day was to do eight laps in qualifying . My best before was seven.
Practice- I only practiced for about half a tank. Just to make sure my buggy was working and my new set up was good. I had cleaned one of my pipes in a crock pot with antifreeze. Well some of the antifreeze was still in my pipe and my buggy was blowing so much smoke around the track.
Qualifying- My first qualifier went great. I reached my goal and got eight laps and got TQ. My second qualifier was going even better then my first I was beating my last qualifying time by ten seconds, until my last lap my tire came unglued! I still got eight laps though.
A Main- I was starting first, and the start went great. I was out in front for the first few laps, but then I crashed and it put me back to 4th. I worked my way back into second and was battling for first. As first place and I were going over a jump his buggy flamed out and I took the lead and never looked back. At the last race I did 27 laps in 20 minutes and this time I did 29 laps in 20 minutes.

On March 28th I went to Rescue for the first race of the season. I was very excited for this race because this was my first outdoor race of the season. The track lay out was very fun. It had lots of jumps and some technical sections.
Qualifying- My first qualifier went well I was still getting use to the track so I crashed a lot, but was still able to get TQ. The second round was going great, I did not crash very much and I was on a new TQ run until my last lap in which I must of crashed 5 times in one lap!!! I Qualified 3rd in the A Main.
The start of the A Main was crazy because there were 10 cars trying to do one jump at the same time. I was still in third by the time I got on my second lap, but I worked my way up to finish in first place. It was a great day of racing I had a lot of fun. Next race is the Nor-Cal Series race.

On March 27 I went to Antioch for the final race of the Winter Series. Going into the race I was in 3rd for the points, but they where doing double points so anything could happen. In practice my buggy was amazing.
Qualifying. My first qualifier was going great I was on a 14 lap pace for the first half. Then I started to crash and I was back on a 13 lap pace. I got first in my heat. The second qualifier went well, but I crashed too much. For the A Main I qualified 6th.
The A Main start was brutal and I went from 6th to the back of the pack. Then two laps later I had got around everyone and was in first and never looked back. I won the race. This was my first series race and it was a lot of fun. I got second place in the series. The next series race for me is the Nor-Cal Series and I hope to put my 801x on the podium.

On March 3rd I left CA to go to Atlanta GA for the Psycho Nitro Blast. This was my first big race. There was 150+ entries in my class!
Qualifying the first round went well and I got second in my heat. At the end of the first round of qualifying I was 25th overall. In the second round, second lap, going down the straight my motor blew up! I had brought a spare motor so I was able to continue onto the next round. The third round was my best because I improved my time by five seconds! This put me in the C Main.
In the C Main I had a rough start which put me in last, but I worked my way up to 6th. Then my wheel fell off! My Alpha motor was just to much power for the wheels. It was a great week of racing.

Qualifying went great I got TQ.
In the A main I was starting first. The race was going great, nine minutes in and I had not crashed! Then someone crossed into the lane that I was in and broke my buggy! It was a fun day of racing even though it ended without finishing the race.

On February 6th I went to Antioch for round five in the winter series. My goal for the race was to get a 21 sec lap time.
Qualifying did not go well for me I was second in the B main.
The B main went great I led the race from the start until the end.
The A main I had some bad luck. A few laps into the race I broke a shock screw. I had a fun day of racing. The best part of the day was getting a 21.9 sec lap.
